More than 20 companies exited Russia in April

During April, 20+ international companies exited the Russian market, according to the Kyiv School of Economics monitoring.

Among the big names were the luxury brand Mercedes-Benz AG, the fast food restaurant chain KFC, the video game company Electronic Arts (EA), and the heat pump maker Viessmann.

The full list includes AFRY, ALD Automotive, Ansell, CNH Industrial, Daimler (also represented in the country by Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz Mobility), Electronic Arts, Emerson Electric, European Property Holdings (EPH), HASSLACHER Holding, Henkel, KFC (along with parent Yum! Brands), Metso Outotec, Orica, SATO Corporation, TE Connectivity, TechnipFMC, Telko, Viessmann.

But our work is far from over… B4Ukraine’s analysis has identified more than 1,700 firms that continue with “business as usual” in Russia.

Amongst them are the US world’s largest oil and gas firm SLB, the French supermarket chain Auchan Retail, the US multinational Procter & Gamble, the German wholesaler METRO AG and the French cosmetics firm Yves Rocher — all of which are on the list of the corporate sponsors of war compiled by National Agency on Corruption Prevention of Ukraine.
