On June 1st, 2024, Ukraine launched an improved version of the War and Sanctions portal, which is now a part of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU/GUR).
The launch of the database previously managed by Ukraine’s National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) was dedicated to International Children’s Day as the DIU published data on those involved in the deportation of Ukrainian children. The portal already contains data on hundreds of people involved in this act of cultural genocide against Ukraine. The list will be regularly updated.
In addition, a comprehensive database containing information on thousands of foreign components (about 3,000) identified in Russian, Iranian and North Korean weapons provides vast resources for investigations.
Other interesting data will be published soon within the portal: ships and planes that transport weapons; stolen Ukrainian products, precious art collections of sanctioned Russian oligarchs, foreign tech equipment (in particular, CNC machines) on which the aggressor produces weapons and many more.
B4Ukraine welcomes the decision to relaunch the Sanctions and War portal. It’s a vital resource for holding companies accountable for their role in Russia’s illegal war of aggression against Ukraine.
Alongside the restoration of vital databases on CNC machine tools and components, we hope to soon see the restoration of the international sponsors of war list with a new and improved methodology.
