Russia Goodbye! We commend the 12 foreign companies that finalized their exit from the Russian market last month through sales or liquidation of their operations.

According to monitoring by the Kyiv School of Economics, the most recent cases of completed exits involve the Danish analytical solutions provider for the food and agricultural industries Foss A/S, the Finnish welding equipment manufacturer Kemppi, the Japanese precision measuring instruments company Mitutoyo, the Finnish logistics and freight services provider Nurminen Logistics, the American consumer products company Spectrum Brands, the Danish brewing giant Carlsberg, the Austrian flexible packaging solutions manufacturer Constantia Flexibles, the Japanese government agency for digital transformation Digital Agency, the Austrian energy and environmental services company EVN AG, the American logistics and supply chain management company GXO Logistics, the British luxury carmaker Jaguar as part of Jaguar Land Rover, and the Czech life insurance provider PPF Life Insurance.

Over 2,000 foreign firms remain in Russia, yet only 452 have fully exited. Many more companies must act to isolate the aggressor and cease to sustain its war economy. It has been proven that withdrawal is possible, even nearly three years into this war.
