Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our communications function. This person will work very closely with the Head of Communications as part of a small team to address a diverse range of communications needs from the various working streams of the coalition. The ideal candidate will be a multifaceted communications professional with a strong background in digital communications and knowledge of graphic design tools. A strong passion for Ukrainian victory is a big plus.
Responsibilities
• Identify story ideas, create and manage a content calendar on a daily basis
• Write press releases and assist with Opinion pieces
• Create and actively manage content for the B4Ukraine website
• Create & distribute a weekly newsletter to a list of 7,000 subscribers
• Maintain media lists of relevant journalists and subscribers
• Create basic visuals to be posted on all digital channels, including social media
• Create designer briefings needed for website, newsletter and social media channels
Social Media
• Create & publish content on B4Ukraine’s social media channels: LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook
• Perform community management on social media platforms
• Monitor and report on social media channel performance
• Identify and engage with online influencers on various social media platforms
• Ad campaigns: execute targeted campaigns on social media platforms
• Measure performance & report the results
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (communications, international relations)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a communications (digital) function
• Excellent analytical and writing skills with ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• Knowledge of various content management systems (CMS) and digital tools used for newsletter distribution
